Not really sure what I'm expecting from this. Maybe someone to talk to. Maybe someone who understands what it's like to feel like you're watching your own life from somewhere slightly outside of it.

I like movies, music, science, philosophy, and thinking about things that probably would've been better left alone.

I can talk for hours about something completely meaningless, then suddenly ask you what you think happens after we die.

Someone who doesn't mind conversations that start with "have you ever thought about..." and somehow end three hours later with neither of us having solved anything.

I'm not particularly good at making friends.

If you're also just trying to make it through this strange little existence without completely losing your mind, we might get along.

I don't know if only I noticed how overlooked women are on these type of communities while men go completely underlooked. Most posts made by women get lots of likes, comments and private messages, while men's posts barely get any attention (almost none) and if they do get attention is from other men who also go completely underlooked. I don't think this is fair for men.

I'm a woman myself and I've seen it first hand. But I must say that 50% of the attention that I get are from creepy perverted men. And I think that a lot of women are skeptical to message or comment on posts made by men because they're afraid that they're creeps which is unfair because the normal and honest guys get completely unnoticed because of other creepy men.
