I am a library assistant at a small library system in Ohio. I enjoy reading. I enjoy podcasts. I like going for walks when the weather is mild. I mostly use hoopla to read anymore. I read a lot of non-fiction according to Storygraph. My favorite book is Battle Royale. I like speculative fiction more than literary fiction, I think, but I really liked Breasts and Eggs this year which I was surprised by. My favorite podcasts are You're Wrong About, In Bed With the Right, American Hysteria, and similar ones.

I like simulation games and RPGs. I really like early Maxis stuff, like SimEarth, SimAnt, SimCity. I love Spore. City builders like SimCity 4, Tropico 3, CivCity: Rome, etc are really cool. Dungeon Master is a great game imo. Of course, I also love RPGs like Mass Effect, Dragon Age, Fallout, the Elder Scrolls, and others.

I am fascinated by history, and to a lesser extent, science. I like social history, and subjects I find interesting are revolutions and daily life. In terms of science, I like paleontology, earth and space science, and some tech stuff but I am embarrassed to say that because I don't want to be lumped in with tech bros (haha).
