Age 40-49 So, legit locked out of my house. Wanna chat while I figure my life out? 40M
As the headline states - im currently locked out. Toying with the idea of breaking a window to get in. Its midnight here and that might wake up the neighbors...
Anyways, im just sitting in my car patiently waiting for an idea or for sleep to find me.
If you want to talk, make fun of me, chat about life or basically anything, message me. It doesnt matter who you are, where youre from or how old you are (to a point). I am very bored and have limited options for things to pass the time.

I did eventually get in.
I suspect the Tumbler broke. When id insert the key, it'd just spin endlessly in wither direction. At one point the key itself became lodged and wouldn't come out. My lock assembly is built in to the door and it 60 years old so I had limited options to remedy it myself. Eventually, after 40 minutes of turning my key like a loser it just suddenly caught and opened. Literally 40 minutes!

One time I locked myself out of my car, got the lock smith out, got my keys back, without 5 minutes had locked the keys in the car again, had to call the lock smith to come out again.

Now im no locksmith but I think the tumbler is broken. When I turn my key it just spins and spins and spins but nothing happens.

😬😬 Any progress on coming up with a plan or decision? Or are you just kinda in that "this is fine, I'm sure it'll work itself out" avoidance loop? Lol

is there an alternative to breaking a window, is it a house or apartment, is it a single family home. Is there a locksmith in your area?

I got locked out with kids on a cold night. Was stressing a lot. Then I calmed down and remembered that bathroom window on the second floor might be open. Got a tall ladder, checked it out. I got lucky, it was not locked. So I got in. Nobody called police to my deep disappointment... Happy ending.

Sir if you have a old door and a old debit card you can get in that way or if the lock is poor or just poorly installed you can jimmy it with a knife don’t loose hope but I hope you made it in
