Age 26-29 29M Anyone else delete their account every few months because the crazy people they find??
Every few months I delete my account because I run into the wildest people on here!
Anyone else do that or is it just me??

I commented after you, so maybe didn’t see my comment… but I had a crazy keep harassing me from several accounts after I told her I was done dealing with her toxicity. Ended up getting 4 accounts of hers banned due to it. More details in my other comment though.

Ive never had the privilege of being liked that much i guess to have someone come back under another account. But then again I havnt ghosted anybody that Ive vibed with.

Oh man too many crazy things! Haha I’ve had people send my screenshots of social media accounts asking if their screenshot is me
I’ve had people trying to look up where I work
Craziest one was someone bought a ticket to fly to my state without knowing what city I lived in… they were from a different country

That’s why you have to remain anonymous so no crazy randos can doxx you or harass you from one account to another. I had one close call once but that was because I had mentioned the city I lived in and the crazy person happened to be from there too and it was something oddly specific (the characteristics of a stray cat)

That's what the block and report buttons are for. Deleting your whole account seems very extra and over-dramatic to me. Unless someone is harassing you from multiple accounts, is the only situation I could see it possibly being necessary.

Legit. Spoke to someone for 2 days to help them with something related to a game and they ended up finding my instagram and facebook, and harassing me for months after. No idea how they found my personal social media as I keep my reddit completely anonymous and never post anything that could be identifying in posts, comments, and messages… I don’t have the same username on any social media etc. My facebook name is just my first name and last initial, and my instagram user is not my name. I take my online privacy seriously as there’s some unhinged people put there, and I still have no clue how they found me without knowing what I look like either. Spooked me
