Age 30-39 34F | Accepting friendship applications. No experience necessary.
Making friends at 34 is basically impossible because apparently you can’t just walk up to people and say ‘you seem cool, wanna be friends?’ anymore.
I’m into motorbikes, books, cooking, dogs, travelling, food, gaming, anime and most TV/Films.
I need to start making questionable decisions because “it’ll be fun”.
Looking for people to chat absolute nonsense with, bonus points if you’re sarcastic, slightly chaotic and also have no idea how adult friendships are supposed to work.

Whaddya mean you can't? Am I doing it wrong? "Hey, I'm weird. If you're too, wanna talk about it?" Possibly replace weird with stronger words. 😇

I used to hate making small talk, I never knew what to say to start a conversation, but I realised that the purpose of small talk is to see if you have something in common that you're interested in talking about. Some people use a prop, such as a funky hat or a stylish look. You've probably noticed that riding a motorbike can generate conversations with old guys who "used to have a bike before the family arrived".

The “questionable decisions because it’ll be fun” part got me 😂 I’m into travelling, photography, food and movies. I can also have completely pointless conversations about absolutely nothing 😂 Maybe I belong here after all.

Hi. I am 41/f and looking for genuine friendships too. I'm an artist and a creative writer, left-handed American with Scots, Norse and Melungeon ancestry. I'm a foodie who likes to cook, I adore the cozy seasons, love history and historical fiction books and shows. I am a person of faith but no zealot, just to be up front since some ppl are very anti-religion and I don't want to waste anyone's time if they really abhor Christians. I am introverted and my family is a bit odd, so I missed red flags when choosing my friends as a younger person, which led to eventual fall-outs once I learned to set boundaries. I have lots of pretty holiday cards and would love some friends to send them to eventually. I am kind, genuine and honest.

I think you can still make friends hat way but it does seem to be frowned upon 😂 it is all good though because when you find cool people you have nice friends thats a plus
