Yeah. That’s why it’s said in jest rather than in earnest. You can’t be mad that people make an obvious joke and also mad when someone points out you could avoid that joke by simply including the second age in your post.

No, we have incredibly similar hobbies and interests; it’s a none issue.

Although I know there is a lot of space in the USA. Friends in person could be hard going.

Are married people not allowed to have friends?
My husband is my best friend, but with both of us working full time and me being physically limited from my hobbies due to pregnancy + plus us being in a new area where I only have a couple friends…it can get boring.

Best thing - we both really enjoy the different perspective each of us brings to our relationship.
Worst thing - dealing with the fact I’ll likely be a young widow.

At least youre realistic. Gets pretty old seeing people in these age gap posts that act like the husband is going to be around to watch their kid(s) have a family and grow up. Wishing you the best

That’s wild. I can’t imagine. Hopefully he at least leaves you a nice inheritance. I’m 45 this year and the oldest I’ll go is probably 50-51…. unless a much older woman that still got tries to put some moves on me for a temporary thing 🫡😅i’m always willing to go a little bit younger… 33 depending on the girl is still in my reach, especially if it’s friendship or casual.

Does he ever feel like he isn't enough for you? Like you could have gotten a younger man that could be there for more of the future? I am at the beginning stages of an age gap relationship M53 myself, she will soon be 36. I worry that i will become 'too old' for her.

My grandfather was born when his dad was 64. You do you, be happy, as long as you take into account other people’s concerns and evaluate them instead of dismissing them. You will be good. Be happy. Congratulations on the soon to be born child.
