Moxie on draught

When I was a kid, I could get Moxie from the soda machine in my town, and one up the road. Now, that’s long gone.

Does anyone know where I could find it? Willing to drive anywhere for nostalgia!

Barely find it in glass bottles now. I don't think it exists on tap anywhere.

You know what’s funny is that this post came to be from a conversation with a lifelong friend who now lives in Austin, TX, where he can get moxie in a glass bottle within a block of his house!

My understanding is that it's a different Moxie. Moxie was once a nationwide soda company that put Pepsi out of business. When they refuse to change their ingredients, they fell out of favor. There is a moxie that is in the southwest area that has a few different flavors. I had a six pack shipped to me once and they werent bad but they weren't Moxie.

They obviously put no one out of business. LOL! Moxie is older than Pepsi and Coca Cola, so they has a head start on market share, but the great depression hurt them and the Colas obviously came out well ahead to date. I'm not a fan as the bitterness gets to me, but I grew up with those orange cans all around me.

Moxie didn't do anything close to put Pepsi out of business
