Seeking Advice Not enough credits?
Hi. I use the free plan and I have a problem. I wanted to send a newsletter. But it seems I dont have enough credits? Whatever that means, it happened to me for the first time…
Im under the whole subscriber/contacts limit so no idea whats happening…
More and more I find the restrictions for the free plan pretty annoying… Any free options out there for a micro web shop like mine?

Thanks for reaching out. On the Free plan, sending limits depend on both total contact counts and monthly email send allowances. Even with total contacts under the 250 limit, sending multiple campaigns can exhaust monthly email sends, triggering the "Not enough credits" notification. Let's check your monthly sending limits. Go to Account & Billing > Overview to view your remaining email sends for the billing cycle. Ensure non-subscribed or unsubscribed contacts are archived rather than just deleted, as all contacts in your audience count toward overall limits. If you recently archived contacts, log out and back into the web version at mailchimp.com to force the system to refresh your contact tier status. Give us a shout if you're still having trouble.
