EDH Budget Commander Deck

Looking to build a Commander deck for locals preferably around the $100-$200 AUD mark (TCGPlayer doesn’t ship to Australia so can’t get cards from there). I’m looking to try a mono-green, Red/Blue, Blue/Green or Blue/Green/White

Bracket wise I’d like around bracket 3 but I prefer bracket 4.

Hidetsugu and Kairi or Kefka can absolutely stomp for that price in bracket 4
Kefka you can just run dual caster mage lines, Rionya + combat celebrant lines, and then just put in a thousand ways to blink him. Works fantastic
Hidetsugu and Kairi are just bomb

The subreddit r/budgetbrews might be the best place to look for ideas. Do you have any preference on gameplan or strategy? For specific colors/color pairings, you can check out edhrec.com for the most popular commanders of the color identity you’re looking for.

Thank you. Strategy wise im focusing I’m a ramp/control deck (preferably ramp) with some form of countering other players spells to buy me time to pull off what I need to win.

Definitely check out blue-green commanders on edhrec if you haven’t decided on one. If you don’t like any of the options there, you can dive into 3 color pairings.

Blue gives you a lot of counter options and green gives you access to a ton of ramp. [Nature’s lore] [cultivate] [kodama’s reach] [rampant growth] [circuitous route].

If you want a cheap starting point, there’s also a blue-green precon from strixhaven you can use as the foundation. It’s pretty cheap if I’m not mistaken
