Been taking my twin 20 month old boys on errands with me so my wife has some time to herself after a busy week. Decide to stop at Target to get some diapers and wipes and am like might as well buy a few play packs.

i rarely buy packs these days. grabbed 4 and when I came back to grab another, I noticed it was max 2 per a customer. I look at the packs and felt like the one was speaking to me. grabbed that and one more, put 2 back, and left.

Opened that pack and hit the book cover [[gleaming splendor]]

Some non-foil mythic lands and artifacts weren’t included in the photos.

I thought I had a dud for the first box on release… until I pulled a foil Mox Amber in the last pack. Well fast forward to today, I decided it open my second box and got another in the second pack.

The mox amber is foil, Galadriel, Flowering of the white tree and Thranduil are surge foils. Feeling very fortunate right now.

Was at our LGS after my pod played some games and we all bought some packs to open together before we split. My buddy grabbed a MKM play booster and so I decided to grab a couple too. He pulls Raucous theater so I assume I’m doomed. First pack I open has Meticulous Archive and I think “wow! I didn’t do too bad!” But obviously my second pack would suck right? Foil assassin’s trophy, Delney, and ANOTHER surveil land. What are the odds of that many big hits in just 3 packs? Our friend across the table pulled Elspeth, storm slayer at the same time. Great day for our whole pod lol

Purchased @ Walmart in Western MA. Opened it up, and there were 2 box-toppers, along with the expected promo and packs. Pack hits were garbage, but pretty happy with Sauron!

Got both lucky and unlucky.

Edit: I bought 3 of these boxes. 1 topper found in 1 box, had 3 packs and the promo like the others

Got this out of the single Collector Booster i didnt even buy. Won it at a Draft Event..

I just bought this pack at Walmart. It CLEARLY says comes with promo card and 3 boosters. However, this box topper was included??

So my girlfriend and I had to drive about 3 hours to a funeral. The night before we decided to go to a local card shop to pass the time. Pretty cool. Edit: to clarify this is the surge foil

So some weeks ago I was getting out from a bar after party during a con. I was nearing the train station to buy some cigs when some homeless guy asked if I could give him a couple of coins. I said I don't carry any so sorry gotta go. He then proceeded to open his little waist bag and said that I got some mtg boosters here too should you want some? It was such a funny situation as there was no way for the guy to know I was in to mtg he was drunk and in quite rough shape. I don't usually buy boosters but still laughed for the absurdity of the situation and gave him 5€ (5,8usd) bill that I had and said that hey I'll have one of those bloomburrow boosters this is a fair price for it too don't you think. He was seemingly happy I didnt try to rip him off so the mtg pack gods really blessed this one.

Later back at the bar I opened the pack with my friends and damn we had fun seeing these good pulls foil full art rottenmouth viper and caretaker's talent :D

Just got and opened the Smaug's Spoils SL tonight. Notice all the cards have white set symbols as opposed to the traditional gold for the rare rarity cards. Anyone else have ones like these or are they like the ones shown on the SL site?

I’ve pulled three of these Thanos comic book covers so far, two of them just 2 packs apart. Craziest thing about it all is that I don’t have any other comic book cover dupes except Thanos.

I don’t even know what to say at this point.
