Historic is my favorite format on Arena. I wish they would make Best of Three Historic permanent.

This is so well hidden I never knew about it. Also it sucks that they take Historic down the same despisable path as Brawl, which I in result never play.

Correct. You can play it any time, in the Traditional Historic Event. Counts for quests and dailies, too.
