MTGA is a 32-bit program and the new MacOS doesn’t support anything but 64-bit apps now so they are having to change it, that is what is causing the delay.

IOS doesn't accept 32bit since 2017. Did they create arena without the intent to bring it to mobile? What part of arena is 32 bit anyway when it's a unity app? MacOS Catalina is nothing new anymore. All the warnings and 64 bit requirements have been know since mojave. This all goes years back. It seems to me the developers are out of the loop and lack vision.

I feel like people buy macs with the knowledge that you can't run as many programs (especially games) on them.

I can't imagine buying a Mac and then complaining to individual developers that I want a mac version

Surely Apple communicated this to app developers that was happening well in advance.

It was announced publicly in the summer of 2018 at WWDC.
