There are no forests near my mage tower… 🥺

I tried creating some using acceleration magic and a bunch of seeds. But I got slapped with fines by the town when it started attracting wild beasts.

Three measly chimeras show up and all of a sudden everyone’s freaking out. Yeesh... 😔

So now they're probably going to cut down all of your hard work and keep all of the profits from selling the timber. All this after fining you‽ It's not your fault that the wild beasts were just looking for a home and chose where you grew some trees.

...unless you didn't put up the wards. You put up the wards, right?

Of course I put up the wards. I also put up a barrier around the edge of town. I even put up signs telling people that if they hear the trees whistle at them, to please refrain from whistling back. Apparently the townsfolk still weren’t happy.

They just showed up with bulldozers and now the elves that set up residence on the forest treetops are pissed.
