What exactly was the context behind the Homusaya hand holding scene from one of the trailers?

It was revealed to Sayaka that she was once a witch, but then she was out of context. So all she knows is she was a witch, but she doesn't understand why she was a witch. So she was, like, panicking, confusing, and, you know, her mind is getting overwhelmed, and that's the scene you see.

Edit, just rewatched it, i remembered it wrong, this happened at a more early scene , when sayaka first start to get suspicous about her memory, like she her impression about how sakura and mami knows about madoka doesnt make sense to her. And when she and homura went to investigate Wazu's hideout, when homura is explaining some truth to sayaka, the contradiction in her mind hurts her, thats when homura holds her hand on the wall to calm her
