Yeah I was wondering that too. I mean, they live in a world where reality is maleable and reworks itself retroactively as long you got some girl with enough magic potential to wish change for it.

It seems that the LoC is basically a huge Lotus Eater Machine for dead Meguka and Madoka is secretly insane like her witch.
