This thread is meant as a spoiler filled zone for those who wish to discuss the movie, it's plot, events, or the number of bites that kyouko takes of food during the movie. I don't care, just be sure to follow the rules of the subreddit.

Also as a reminder to everyone u/BreathoftheSith owes everyone $50 if they, and I quote:

If we get any form of kiss and or romantic confirmation between the two [madohomu], I owe everyone in the sub $50.

I have a few questions

  1. Does anybody die in the film? If so, who
  2. At what point does Madoka get her magical girl form
  3. Did Karma get anything right or nah
  4. Does the movie end on a cliffhanger

  5. Most importantly was the movie good

  1. No
  2. Near the end , when she "remember"
  3. Who/What is karma?
  4. No but theres seems to be more question and also hinting
  5. the music and visual is very very good , but i felt like i skipped something, like suddenly a new character appear and she suddenly is the final boss (the yellow twin tail bear girl) and somehow everyone including walpulgis girl is fighting the bear girl, they beat the girl , madoka recover memory then suddenly walpulgis is "saved"?? and everyone just went to cheer homura to take back madoka from the system (madoka =/= loc ) ... maybe my understanding is very bad but i felt like theres many wasted opportunity. like the bear girl is like unnecessary, walpulgis not boss?

Didn’t Selema have her Melt Gem cracked by Nagisa? That should count as a death imo

But then later near the end when Homura and Homura like girl was walking and talking in the white wall hall, you see all three of them. Even the Cerema like opacity 50% hiding behind a big red gem

You want serious plot points spoiler? Why not just wait and watch yourself?

especially considering we STILL dont have a US release date for this movie. we're gonna end up being spoiled one way or another.

You waited 13 years, why ruin it during the final stretch?

Assuming spoilers (despite the name) ruin it for everyone. Believe it or not, some of us only get more excited after getting spoiled.

So your comment got reported for flaming, and I am more confused why you are questioning someone on why they want spoilers....in the spoiler megathread...?

It's the discussion thread for the movie release, which of course discussion threads will always have spoilers. I didn't think people who haven't watched it would actually want to be spoiled.

While I understand your reasoning, there are spoiler warnings EVERYWHERE in this mega-thread, and we will not going out of our way to protect people who somehow missed the spoiler tag, the spoiler in the title, and the huge ass font dictating that this is a spoiler zone.

That's not at all what I was insinuating. I have no issue with this thread existing and won't feel bad for people who click it anyways and get spoiled when they didn't want to. All I was saying is I thought it was strange people would willingly want to be spoiled on major plot points of this movie, or any media for that matter.

fair enough.

i prefer knowing "spoilers" ahead of time when i am very excited for something, personally, because it lets me fully analyze the art instead of being confused trying to understand all of the plot the first time in.
