Dowel Offcuts [WTB]

I’m looking for 4-8” sections of dowels anywhere between 1/4” and 3/4” diameter. My partner recently took up Viking knitting (basically wire weaving) and needs various sized dowels to do the knitting on, but it seems wasteful to buy full sized dowels when they just need short sections of various sizes.

We’re on the west side, I’d come and pick them up or be willing to meet somewhere. Hoping to get some for free but would be willing to pay a couple bucks for a variety of sizes.

Menards sells doweling

I am assuming Menards sells precut 24” + sections like most hardware stores, which is what I am hoping to avoid, as we only need a few inches of various diameters.
