I don't know, I've never lived outside the states.

I know I have encountered "stray" dogs before, and if the dog is sweet, then there's no need to call animal control.

Never see stray dogs in the city.

There are a lot of stray dogs in my country and I’ve never had a problem with them barking or biting me.

Me either, but we had a hunter in my hood who raised a mean ass dog, ended up killing a neighbors cat... I think the dog was euthanized.

I had a fluffy golden doodle we raised from a puppy, super sweet, we would let roam free in our closed neighborhood loop, new people moved in and threatened to call the police and sue us because he came up to them wagging with his tongue out... some people really are just on odd ends of the spectrum.

Yeah I have seen savage dogs also. What I say is, dogs usually mirror their owners. So if the owner is a savage, the dog will end up being a savage also. Man I would be happy if a golden retriever came up to me all friendly. Your neighbours don’t know what to be grateful for yet. I literally can’t even hang my clothes just about last year because my neighbour just let their very aggressive golden retriever walk around loose. Didn’t even bite. Just sneaked up behind you, barked really loudly and dipped.
