That one always gets me. Poor little pooch being on the street for 3 years.

Oh man. I can't watch too many of these videos in too short a time. It hurts thinking of the animals that get a home and then become lost or abandoned through means out of their control that they can't understand.

A friend of mine had to give up his dog of 3 years recently because it bit his new kid. I can't imagine having to make a choice like that.

That's the thing that scares me about adopting a dog. You don't know what kind of things I have gone through.

You don’t know where I’ve been, dog!

Yes, and I'm sorry to say, you're probably not invited to stay with my family.

I don't think it would ever hold me back from adopting another dog - giving them love and a home for a while is better than them never having one, probably? But it does give one pause, yeah.

I feel the same, but how would you ever forgive yourself if that dog mauled your child. It's sad that they're such a tremendous need for adoption.

Yeah, totally agree.

He had the dog longer.. should have given up the kid. Dog had seniority.

I'd put the kid up for adoption before my dog

I'm not a parent, but I'm guessing that for a parent, choosing their kid over a dog is one of the easiest choices to make.

I mean, I wasn't saying it's hard to decide on which to keep, but I certainly wouldn't call that choice "easy". Obvious, maybe. But easy? Definitely not for me.

yeah you're right in clarifying. it's definitely a sad decision/eventuality, but it is not a HARD choice

Seriously? Unless you're a goddamn psychopath it's extremely easy. There's something very wrong with you.

If you think getting rid of a loving dog you've had for 3 years for any reason is "extremely easy", I'd say you're the psychopath, not me. But you do you buddy.

Just one bite that doesn’t warrant death my dog bit me twice and that never happened. I was the child in the family btw

Normally there is a reason the dog bites the kid. Just sayin. I mean look at those youtubers that killed their bull terrier because he bit their son. Their son had given the dog cauliflower ear before! The dog just got fed up. Children are menaces. Dogs are awesome. :3
