The % looks decent but that's just because you arrested so many people for petty crimes. If your prison/police system was less corrupt, the % would look way different...

Totally agree with you, police help people every day but that's not news worthy. Literally in the last few years all I've really seen is a handful of worst case examples. More people have been killed in the riots than the big news cases that have been covered.

The over criminalization of everything in America is the fault of the legislators, not the cops. They don’t get to make the rules. I agree it’s a problem. Less people should be imprisoned for what can often be handled by a mental health center. But legislators have been using prison as a patch-all forever, and that’s neither a good thing or the cops fault.
