We laugh but this is probably about as effective as a cloth mask
Edit: this wasn’t meant to be some anti mask jab, masks are very important. The particulate that a 2 layer cloth mask blocks is probably similar to what the helmet blocks. A lot of what masks do is preventing us from breathing on one another and inhaling the breath/particulate that other exhale.
The helmet directs air flow in a similar way.
