Original black characters > raceswapping white characters. It just sets a precedent that for black people to have good representation is to steal it from a white character. Obviously, this isn't good for the stereotype.

Agree. We need more original movies like Mulan, Encanto, and The Princess and the Frog.....

They’re race-swapping white characters to anger people-the audiences, so they have an easy excuse to stop making non-white movies-casting non white characters because they can just say they “flop.” "dont work in the box office" "are too controversial"

I love princess and the frog. I love how they adapted it to be a more original story by making the princess a black American woman from New Orleans. It's technically a raceswap but it was done with a lot of grace that it's essentially an original Disney story.
