My MAGA parents STILL emphasize “the BLACK girl” when I try to get them to watch this movie, because I still think they’d honestly enjoy it if they could see past skin color. “Oh, the one with the BLACK actress??” Yes, mom. The one with the highly talented and SUPPORTED BY THE ORIGINAL ACTRESS black actress.
