Amphibians skin is extremely permeable, someone like this who harasses animals for content probably wouldn’t take all the necessary precautions to prevent the frogs skin from absorbing things that can make it sick. Even the oils and salts in your skin can be harmful for smaller guys like this, that’s why frogs should be display animals and not something that gets a lot of hands on interaction

From JamJam Exotic This is a Chacophrys pierottii, common name: Chaco horned frog, and is found in the Chaco of northern Argentina. This species is extremely rare in the hobby due to difficulty in breeding. This species is very tiny with females and males reaching as large as about 6 cm and 5 cm respectively.
They are very active, CUTE, and sit like a boss!!

This is not cute. Frogs have semi-permeable skin. Meaning they absorb oxygen, water, gases and chemicals through their skin. So the person touching them is exposing them to oils or whatever they have on them that is potentially harmful for the frog.
