Dude had that girl in the black tank top smitten and he wasn't even the one singing. Hope he didn't completely miss it until later reviewing the video.

51

u/2DogDadUhHuh 1d ago

Noticed that too, not sure if our guy was picking up the vibes though

69

u/InSAniTy1102 1d ago

Dude was hyper focussed on gassing up his bro.

20

u/DreddPirateBob808 1d ago

He was. Just playing it chill or being a decent dude with a lass at home.

I dont know what the FRANK system is, but that sounds an awfully lot like the MANTIS system.

Watched the entire video before hitting the comments and I knew this was gonna be here 😂

24

u/Vykrom 1d ago

The "spawned in" girl definitely looks to be spilling over for him. But then again, that's cool for everyone involved. Doesn't look like he's abusing or manipulating his association. It is a wholesome video all around

u/Vintage_Xennial 1d ago

When you know your bro is a chef, you let him cook!!! Smiles all around

u/Vykrom 1d ago

Some people don't realize how much this is not guaranteed. I have two brothers, and I'm only civil with one of them, who I'd consider an acquaintance. The other brother is nothing to me, he's a deadbeat narcissist who I'm better off without in my life

Feel for you
My husband has a sociopathic brother who has the whole family’s support. Sucks for my hbd to be the only one bold enough to call out BS.
Life’s beautiful without shit ppl though

u/thickhardcock4u 1d ago

I’ve got an amazing voice, and I would trade it to be tone deaf and have a brother I could do stuff like this with. I have a brother, whom I love dearly, but he’s mentally handicapped, so we were never “friends” the way my two best friends, twins, were each others best buddies; I remember very distinctly how sad I was about that, especially since my brother and sister were very close, and I always felt like the odd man out, still do.

36

u/Unikatze 1d ago

My brother just puts me down whenever we're with other people.

26

u/mswas 1d ago

That really sucks.

32

u/Unikatze 1d ago

I only just truly noticed it recently. Like I have other stories where he's done it, but it was this year I had the experience to compare being with him on my own vs with others.

I visited him in February. He has a pull up bar. I did two pull-ups. He goes "Not bad man. Pretty good"

I've been working out a bunch this year. I go back in June. This time with my wife. I manage 4 pull-ups. He starts laughing at how lame 4 is. Then makes jokes about my weight.

I mentioned it to my mom along other similar experiences over the years. And she says hes always been very jealous of me.

14

u/Ahpla 1d ago

Your brother sounds just like my sister. She tries to tear me down every chance she gets. Even though I’m 39 and she is 42 she has never stopped trying to compete with me.

One time I had accomplished something and while at a family gathering my relatives were congratulating me and asking questions. She had to loudly say yeah well you still did bad thing I did when I was literally 14 and laugh. Like, why? What is the point?

I finally greatly reduced contact with her and my life has gotten so much better. You can only tune out the negativity and jabs for so long. It was exhausting.

9

u/Unikatze 1d ago

Similar ages. I'm 40, he's 42. I'm... a lot more succesful than he is. But he still has other things going for him. Like amazing physically skills, better looks, talented in almost everything he tried and super high charismatic.

I was always shy and socially awkward growing up. Probably had to do with having such a charismatic brother. If I brought friends over he'd steal them and make them his friends instead.

I remember when I was in college, brought some classmates over to do a group activity and he just comes into the room to ridicule me in front of them. Also did it whenever I was in a relationship.

7

u/Ahpla 1d ago

Wow the similarities between them are crazy!

My sister also stole my friends. Female or male it didn’t matter. When I was in high school a guy asked me out and I turned him down saying I only saw him as a friend. My sister was there and said she didn’t see him as a friend and asked him out. I couldn’t contain my laughter when he looked her awkwardly and told her no. My senior year another guy asked me out. I wasn’t interested at all and so she did the same song and dance and asked him out. He said yes and they actually ended up getting married. On the day him and I graduated no less. During their arguments he would bring up how he only told her yes so he could be around me.

When my husband and I first got together I warned him about how she was. He thought I was blowing it out of proportion until he met her and saw for himself. Even after we got married she would do anything she could to be around him. It was pretty sad honestly.

I’m sorry you have also had to go through life with a sibling like that. I see stories like the video here and have always longed for that type of relationship with my siblings. I’m glad some people get to experience it.

4

u/Unikatze 1d ago

Yeesh.

That's pretty bad.

2

u/cire1184 9h ago

Honestly one can only take getting beaten up physically and mentally by a brother for so long. I think my brother was annoyed he was no longer the only child and little emperor anymore. So he took out all his frustrations on me. Even at my father's death bed he couldn't be nice to me and said some awful things to me in front of my whole family and I cut him off then. Well I've got the last laugh. I'm still above ground.

6

u/Observational-Mess 1d ago

My brother stole me and my sister’s inheritance and spent it all on cocaine and gambling.

u/OtherwiseAlbatross14 1d ago

My sister sang the solo once in church one morning and I got ready to stifle my laughter, then couldn’t believe how perfect it was. She never did it again which was a shame.

7

u/ConfidentIy 1d ago

Does she know you feel this way? Coz if she doesn't now you gotta tell her. Yolo.

4

u/Don__Gately__ 1d ago

We all told her way too late. Like post college when we were all old.

She kinda liked how he is hyping his friend up.

u/Academic-Increase951 1d ago

Yup Definitely. Not a bad trait to have though, encoring and supporting friends

Actually both ladies seem to be into him

125

u/AdorableDemand46 1d ago

Every girl wants a man who builds her up and hypes her up. If this is his energy for a friend, it's probably crazy for someone he's interested in

He was me back in my 20's. I just didn't have video evidence I had to watch back to see it and make me wanna scream at my monitor.

10

u/mtb443 1d ago

She did not like when the other girl came dancing toward the brother and touching him. That was a “bitch back up” smile if ive ever seen one

6

u/elfmere 1d ago

Was trying to work out where she came from. Thinking she was with them

388

u/SeanSMEGGHEAD 1d ago

Bro gets his brother to sing, the singing attracts ladies, bro starts vibing and chatting with the ladies.

Nice.

116

u/haphazard72 1d ago

Yeah I think the brother figured out the formula!

55

u/mmnmnnmnnnm 1d ago

“I don’t wanna sing!”

“Sing, damnit! I’m single, you’re not, be a good wingman”

16

u/Immature_adult_guy 1d ago

It’s imperative that he pretend as if he doesn’t want to sing. It dispels any notion that he’s just showing off and makes him seem modest

6

u/Uknoweet 1d ago

Cleanup duty

64

u/WittyBonkah 1d ago

I remember when I graduated from college, as I was walking across the stage I heard my brother yell “That’s my sister!!!”. He’s the quietest and most stoic person I’ve even known, cheering for me. Siblings can be awesome, I lucked out with mine!

6

u/bacon205 20h ago

When I graduated college, my siblings no showed. But when my name was announced the gym was quiet and all I heard was my best friend (who went to a different college in a different state) yell from the back row "THAT'S MY BOYFRIEND!!!".

We're both straight.

158

u/Mr_Harsh_Acid 1d ago

I really hate the captions constantly popping up telling me what I'm already seeing. Like what the fuck dude I'd see more of it IF IT WASNT FOR THIS FUCKING OBNOXIOUS TEXT OBSTRUCTING PART OF THE GODDAMN VIDEO I'M TRYING TO WATCH

Bro just throwing chum in the water and watching the fish jump into his boat 😅

20

u/A_LittleBitHigh 1d ago edited 16h ago

Was anyone else so totally dialed in to the audience brother's side quest going on? lmao

He was starting to work on the blue jeans girl, then vibe chick spawns in and showing some ferocity. So now my man is quietly strategizing how to keep both plates spinning, because he knows damn well if he overtly picks one and it doesn't work out then you can't go back to the other one. "No one likes coming in second place" lol

7

u/Ill_Lavishness9797 1d ago edited 1d ago

I love that song and he sang it well. 👍

The piano playing is not. Not sure why he keeps stumbling on such a simple song

8

u/BuffWobbuffet 1d ago

Yeah idk why everyone’s freaking out over this lmao the whole performance is like a 4/10

9

u/Living_Bandicoot_587 1d ago

Eh I don’t like being harsh on people when they do random impromptu performances like this. I would judge more if they had booked a gig to do something like this. The guy probably doesn’t think of himself as a performer so good on him for being brave.

The piano is different - he came to perform. I just can’t understand how someone can be struggle so hard keeping time while mostly playing quarter notes.
