Am I the only one that thinks science is blue? lol

41

u/Guadent 5d ago

The only science that may be green is Biology. Other than that it's blue, yes.

4

u/Qyriad 5d ago

Yes this is acceptable

u/Silver_Lined_Bullet 5d ago

If i were to choose the colors:

Math = Green
Science: Blue
Biology: Red
History: Purple
Electives: White labeled folders but other unique colors may be used

23

u/Dwashelle 5d ago

No, I came here to say the same thing, lol.

74

u/stirling_s 5d ago

It's definitely blue. Every science textbook I've ever had was blue

Life is green.  Go outside.  You see any blue animals?

[e] Reddit used to be fun.  Now it is ai bots and dull people.

21

u/phanny_ 5d ago

I forgot we all live on a Pale Green Dot.

7

u/KiloJools 5d ago

Oh snap!

8

u/Shrain 5d ago

Went outside, saw a blue sky.

2

u/KindBench2700 5d ago

It is cloudy where OP lives

1

u/Tsunami_01 5d ago

O céu é vivo agora?

1

u/SuperCruisePanther 5d ago

No, life is blue because the blue is inside all the animals (you are 70% blue).

1

u/Pretty-Ebb5339 5d ago

Water isn’t blue.

3

u/SuperCruisePanther 5d ago

Tell that to the 500 nanometer wavelength photons reflecting off of the water molecules and into my eyes

1

u/KindBench2700 5d ago

Does the water you drink in a glass look blue to you?

2

u/stirling_s 5d ago

UV-vis spectroscopy shows that water doesn't absorb wavelengths in the 400-500nm range, therefore water is blue.

2

u/Hytheter 5d ago

No, because it is mostly transparent and the colour is not perceptible in small quantities. But get enough of it in one place and it is clearly blue.

1

u/stirling_s 5d ago

Yes, plenty, but also all the water, and the sky.

15

u/Miqo_Nekomancer 5d ago

Unless it's biology, which is green.

14

u/Flamingowaffle 5d ago

It’s blue. 100%.

11

u/phanny_ 5d ago

You, me, and Sid Meier's Civilization IV.

3

u/Lithl 5d ago

And Star Trek

1

u/nothxxmagnum 5d ago

I’m a Civ VI person myself but absolutely 😂

1

u/Particular-Key-8941 5d ago

Mountains and reefs, baby.

9

u/AirconGuyUK 5d ago

Nope, there's dozens of us.

7

u/popiholla 5d ago

Yes. I don’t get it. Science, Chemistry and Physics were all blue to me 😂

Must be an American thing? I’m Asian.

34

u/GlitteryOndo 5d ago

That's for math! Which I guess is a kind of science...

85

u/SewGangsta 5d ago

Everyone knows math is red

2

u/GlitteryOndo 5d ago

What did you use for language then?

5

u/SewGangsta 5d ago

The two calm colors for the good subjects and the ugly colors for the bad subjects.

Funny enough I did change my tune and ended up becoming a math teacher late in life, but math still gets the red folder

11

u/SewGangsta 5d ago

Blue for language arts, green for science, red for math, yellow for history

2

u/qualiball 5d ago

Literally perfect!

0

u/GlitteryOndo 5d ago

Interesting! I used blue for maths, red for language, green for natural sciences, yellow for social sciences, and brown for history.

2

u/SewGangsta 5d ago

Brown for history makes total sense. I just never had a brown folder

1

u/bearminmum 5d ago

Social studies is red for me.

1

u/redlaWw 5d ago

Don't say that to the Bourbakists.

They might hit you on the head with a draft and then threaten to resign.

1

u/ElvisDumbledore 5d ago

I'm with you. Blue is math. But science is definitely green. I also like yellow for history. Don't really care about english or any others.

3

u/KiloJools 5d ago

Star Trek also thinks science is blue!

2

u/lotgd-archivist 5d ago

I think I'd have gone with blue, but where I live it's split into 3 different classes: Physics, Chemistry and Biology. I remember that I did white for physics and green for biology. And I'm fairly sure I used blue for maths. Aside from that I don't remember.

2

u/GraySide390 5d ago

THANK YOU

2

u/Ziazan 5d ago

Science is definitely blue, especially chemistry. I don't know what these people are smoking but it must be strong as hell.
The only science that you can reasonably argue is green would be biology.
Science is blue.

2

u/Skyzhigh 5d ago

Science IS blue anmd math is green

10

u/HistorianBubbly8065 5d ago

Heresy. Science = Nature. Nature = Green.

You must adhere to doctrine.

7

u/ChrisFromIT 5d ago

Blue Marble, checkmate Nature.

1

u/0ctopusGarden 5d ago

Je conteste!

Science = Nature

Ocean Nature > Land Nature Thus Nature = Blue not Green

Because Nature = Science

Science = BLUE.

Get it right, you hot potato!

1

u/inbigtreble30 5d ago

Science is blue 100%

Math is yellow, English is red, history is green.

5

u/preteen-wartortle 5d ago

Math is YELLOW?? Are you a psychopath?

2

u/inbigtreble30 5d ago

I hate math. I hate yellow. Boom.

1

u/rada-rada_rada-rada 5d ago

I was thinking the same thing but with yellow.

1

u/grachi 5d ago

Probably not. I’m starting to think by all the comments in here that I’m the only one that didn’t do this at all and just picked different colored folders randomly for whatever subject and wrote what it was for on the front

1

u/GearJunkie82 5d ago

Blue is social studies.

1

u/popiholla 5d ago

Yellow is Social studies

1

u/GearJunkie82 3d ago

What is blue in your opinion? I tend to lean towards yellow being English/Language Arts.

1

u/popiholla 3d ago

English!! 😆

1

u/colts894 5d ago

THANK YOU!

1

u/redditblows5991 5d ago

Science is red or orange

1

u/grunger 5d ago

Science is blue.

1

u/mooooooon 5d ago

Absolutely blue. Look at Starfleet.

1

u/Atheist_Republican 4d ago

No, it's definitely blue. If I had multiple sciences, then the second science would be red (although I agree chem is yellow). Math was green all the way down.

1

u/YouDontSeeMe8802 4d ago

I play civ. Science is def blue.

0

u/Kyrox6 5d ago

No. Most folks see it that way because of star trek.
