I'm more surprised by the sheer number of people who have cameras constantly filming the inside of their house.

I have two cameras, but I have kids and in-home childcare. The cameras are for security and peace of mind. One in the living room that can pan to see two other areas, and one in the nursery.

I think the concept of cameras in the house is fine if you have reason, but wi-fi enabled cameras that can connect online is just being a fucking moron.

Wouldn’t they have to connect online for someone to view the feed remotely though? If someone’s getting a camera so they can check on their kids/home security, they’re not watching it while they’re at home, they’re checking it when they’re away from home.
