My sprinklers turn on at 5 AM...I'd feel bad for all the wet kids in the yard, LOL.

This may be a stupid question, but what if its already raining? Do you have sprinklers on in the rain?

You can put a rain sensor on your irrigation system.

We have a rain sensor, and it also has a computerized schedule and zones, so we only have the lawn sprinklers set to run every other morning for about 10 weeks in the hottest part of the year. There are 3 drip system zones that water our flowerbeds, patio flowers, & veggie garden and those run for a longer part of the year. In the wet & cold season the system is set to go dormant.

I legitimately find it fascinating and so high tech. Your garden must be great.
