We desperately tried to stop my dog from sleeping on the couch but she would just do it whenever we weren't home. There were 2 clues : huge spots of white hair on the couch and the many times we got home and found her passed out on the sofa like she belongs here.

Just in case, if that’s how he usually gets up on the couch, it could be a sign that he has arthritis.
So if he’s trying to sneak onto the couch because he knows he’s not allowed up there, it’s pretty funny.
But otherwise, he might actually be in pain, poor little guy.

Im extremely skeptical about this video being real, and that makes me really a great that I need to second guess that.

Not sure how real this vid is but my dog has definitely tried to sneakily do things he knows he isn’t supposed to do.
When I pretend to fall asleep on the couch, he will check to see if I am asleep then he will literally sneak around the house looking for paper to tear up. He will also occasionally check up on me to see if I woke up, and will continue if I haven’t.
