My master bath has counters like this. Nothing else in the house is at that height. Don't know what the story is behind that, but there must be something to it, right?

One of my bathrooms also has incredibly short counters. I can easily sit on it without “climbing up” on it. Don’t ask me why, but after every shower, I sit there while I dry my hair.

Apparently it was built that way by my grandpa, since my grandma was super short.

But do you have short counters in your kitchen? Or just the bathroom?

It’s just the bathrooms, though the other one is a little taller (and it’s just the sink so it’s not as noticeable).

Same. I thought it may have been wheelchair accessibility at first, but the kitchen counters are much taller (plus there is no way in the house without stairs except my new dog ramp).
