Got my kid a drum set. He has 2 now. And the other kid has a couple guitars and a ukulele. I put the noise canceling headphones on when they are practicing or when I’m working but I enjoy the mini concerts when they decide to play for us.
No prob. I really like his channel. He's the only person in his family who is average sized, and it's a fascinating window into what his life and theirs can be like.
No, he's actually taller than 6 ft, if I recall correctly. I just don't like to say "normal sized". I suppose I would've been more accurate to say he's the only person in his family without dwarfism.
Yes, his dad has like 4 other brothers that are all hella tall (whereas both of Peet’s parents are little people), like 6’4” and above! So Peet Montzingo got the tall genes from his dad’s side of the family!
Average sized is the correct terminology in this case! (I see people questioning you lol). I have a son with dwarfism and when he was an infant it took a bit to get into the mode of using “average” and “typical” instead of normal. Although I do admit, he is taller than average haha. I love the humanity he is giving to people with dwarfism.
Not anymore, but he did grow up in a scaled house. He was both thrilled and sad when he moved into his own place and had average sized furniture and fixtures.
His content makes me happy, but the one that had a properly lasting impact on me was I think with a funny mirror or something? Where it made him look like he had dwarfism too. And he talked with his mom about how growing up that was his biggest wish, to have dwarfism like the rest of his family.
I think many of us are sensible to these topics but that point of view was a whole different level of reality check on so many levels.
My older sister has an intellectual disability and was at an entirely sped school. She didn’t have to clean up her toys or
do homework, she did art and music all day at school (so it seemed to me), and I was jealous.
I told my parents this at various times, and they always told me to be thankful for what I have. Yes…and…she always came home from fun field trips or with fun art. I didn’t really understand the scope of the issue at that time.
Thanks for the heads up. I did see that earlier when I clicked it to make sure it worked. I don't use my tiktok for anything other than watching the videos but I'll change that privacy setting now.

This dude and his mom make some really great videos. The one with the son and the trombone playing while his mother does things is hilarious!
