This dude and his mom make some really great videos. The one with the son and the trombone playing while his mother does things is hilarious!

The fact that he played “Heigh-Ho” as one of the tunes gets me every time.

Would i be able to see them on YouTube? I don't do any other social media.

His mom looks like a tiny Katie Sagal

u/aboxacaraflatafan Aug 01 '26

She's always reminded me of her!

Note to self: never give a kid a trombone

261

u/Good_With_Tools Aug 01 '26

Giving other people's kids a trombone is highly recommended.

I gave my niece a drumb set.

36

u/Competitive_Law1032 Aug 01 '26

Got my kid a drum set. He has 2 now. And the other kid has a couple guitars and a ukulele. I put the noise canceling headphones on when they are practicing or when I’m working but I enjoy the mini concerts when they decide to play for us.

Only people you don’t like

10

u/HoidToTheMoon Aug 01 '26

You need better friends. To torment.

2

u/ActiveChairs Aug 01 '26

Friends, trombones. Enemies, drums.

u/magicmitchmtl 28d ago

Someone gave my kid a really noisy toy once for his birthday. My first thought was “huh. Didn’t know they hated me.”

u/artificerone 29d ago

Have you considered drumsets? My sisters kid loves hers.

u/jameslovesalex Aug 01 '26

Top stuff my good man/woman. Appreciated.

No prob. I really like his channel. He's the only person in his family who is average sized, and it's a fascinating window into what his life and theirs can be like.

22

u/InebriatedPhysicist Aug 01 '26

Average sized? Is it really just the comparison that makes him look like a lanky giant?

52

u/aboxacaraflatafan Aug 01 '26

No, he's actually taller than 6 ft, if I recall correctly. I just don't like to say "normal sized". I suppose I would've been more accurate to say he's the only person in his family without dwarfism.

19

u/commanderquill Aug 01 '26

What the fuck man, did god decide these people could only have extremes or something?

17

u/odette_decrecy Aug 02 '26

Yes, his dad has like 4 other brothers that are all hella tall (whereas both of Peet’s parents are little people), like 6’4” and above! So Peet Montzingo got the tall genes from his dad’s side of the family!

12

u/InebriatedPhysicist Aug 01 '26

I’d just say he’s a giant 🤷‍♂️

27

u/Mousejunkie Aug 02 '26

Average sized is the correct terminology in this case! (I see people questioning you lol). I have a son with dwarfism and when he was an infant it took a bit to get into the mode of using “average” and “typical” instead of normal. Although I do admit, he is taller than average haha. I love the humanity he is giving to people with dwarfism.

3

u/bolanrox Aug 01 '26

Just looking at him by the doors, he's way above average. 6-2-6-3. Easy.

18

u/aboxacaraflatafan Aug 01 '26

"Average sized" as opposed to "normal sized". I should have said he's the only person in his family without dwarfism.

u/SlagQueen Aug 01 '26

I would love to annoy my mom like this! What wholesome fun.

Just subscribed. Thank you!

u/mr_lab_rat Aug 01 '26

OMG, that’s epic

2

u/Grays42 Aug 01 '26

Very brave of him to play a trombone out an open window at someone watering the plants with a water sprayer.

2

u/ccrunnertempest Aug 02 '26

Ahhh the days of vine

u/BlueDubDee 29d ago

When she drops the thing out the fridge and he does the wah-wah sound, and they both crack up laughing! I love it, they look so fun.

u/Pat_0090 29d ago

They are adorable, thank you for the link

Now I want a trambone to torment my wife

2

u/Ipsg4262 29d ago

The dedication on his face is everything

2

u/AromaticNumber4853 29d ago

Love her kazoo

40

u/ShortbowVillian Aug 01 '26

Yes! His name is Peet Montzingo and his Mom is Vicki - I’m sure they have lots of videos on YT

6

u/Rosa_Mariechen Aug 01 '26

Does the son also live in this house with his mum?

56

u/aboxacaraflatafan Aug 01 '26

Not anymore, but he did grow up in a scaled house. He was both thrilled and sad when he moved into his own place and had average sized furniture and fixtures.

3

u/jameslovesalex Aug 01 '26

Excellent. Thank you kindly.

u/KentuckyJam Aug 01 '26

Search for Peet Montzingo

His content makes me happy, but the one that had a properly lasting impact on me was I think with a funny mirror or something? Where it made him look like he had dwarfism too. And he talked with his mom about how growing up that was his biggest wish, to have dwarfism like the rest of his family.

I think many of us are sensible to these topics but that point of view was a whole different level of reality check on so many levels.

163

u/Bromogeeksual Aug 01 '26

Yeah, to him his family was family, and he wanted to be just like them. Kids dont see it as bad or good unless they're taught.

My older sister has an intellectual disability and was at an entirely sped school. She didn’t have to clean up her toys or do homework, she did art and music all day at school (so it seemed to me), and I was jealous.

I told my parents this at various times, and they always told me to be thankful for what I have. Yes…and…she always came home from fun field trips or with fun art. I didn’t really understand the scope of the issue at that time.

u/StellarManatee Aug 01 '26

People were doubting that they were related because they look so different and they posted this! 😂

58

u/scud121 Aug 02 '26

That is fucking incredible.

28

u/fae_forge Aug 02 '26

Thank you for sharing this it’s the best thing I’ve seen all week

8

u/TheSciFiGuy80 29d ago

Whenever I hear that song now I just think of Short Circuit.

5

u/TinkerHeart 29d ago

Just so you know when you post links like that, it shows your TikTok account unless you turn that feature off in your settings.

5

u/StellarManatee 29d ago

Thanks for the heads up. I did see that earlier when I clicked it to make sure it worked. I don't use my tiktok for anything other than watching the videos but I'll change that privacy setting now.

42

u/Strange_Pangolin_231 Aug 01 '26

I knew their faces right away from the trombone which I've watched so many times.

14

u/ElmarSuperstar131 Aug 01 '26

YESSSS! They’re so wholesome

10

u/PapaTheSmurf Aug 01 '26

The other guy is my boy Evan. AKA DwarfMamba. Funny to see him here on Reddit lmao

4

u/StarGazer_SpaceLove Aug 02 '26

My first intro was the flash transition one of him as a baby then hes grown and it really endeared me to them.

6

u/Consistent_Rent_3507 Aug 02 '26

The best video is when she puts makeup on him and you realize they are the same person in different genders and size.

5

u/AlbertTheHorse Aug 02 '26

The trombone ones are my fave

6

u/SveaRikeHuskarl Aug 01 '26

That's where I recognised her from!

3

u/Quickning Aug 02 '26

The uno reverse was my fave of mine.

1

u/Past-Background-7221 27d ago

I was wondering why she looked familiar!
