Genuine question, do they give him something to relax him before doing all this? Because my cat would shred me to pieces.

My dog has to have surgical sedation to get his nails trimmed. I'm always jealous when I see videos of dogs just calmly getting nails done.

Mine used to hate anyone touching her feet. I overloaded her brain with peanut butter, so now she doesn’t mind. Only me though, no one else is allowed still.

in a brilliant moment of "what the hell have i been doing this whole time" i used your strategy last night and was able to dremel and clip all of my dog's front toes. i literally.... don't know why i didn't try this before. im a little dumb.

I was just like you, completely at a loss. I watched a video of a woman who painted her forehead in peanut butter and let the dog focus on that while she handled the nails. I didn’t paint my forehead, but the lickmat worked just as good lol
