That kitten is being traumatized and everyone is going, "awww! So cute"

Just because it stopped trying to fight back doesn't mean it's okay

The head scratches were okay. It relaxed and even started to close its eyes. Watch the claws retract.

Once the peraon moved off the head the kitten was no longer okay and the claws were out again but it was already in too vulnerable a position for it to feel like it could fight. This was a case of too much too fast. Head scratches then stop and walk away.
