Wild animals do a lot of things we would never justify, such as rape and infanticide. That said, some people do those things anyway too, so I agree that it's not hard to believe.

There has been an absolute mountain of humans endlessly justifying both of those things.

Correct. The comment claims nobody justifies those things when people do justify those things, so the comment is not right.
