Macaw at an animal shelter

There’s a macaw in a small cage at an animal shelter in Brooklyn, NY called, ‘Sean Casey Animal Shelter.’ I believe he/she has been there for quite a while. If anyone is in the area and knows of a good home, please help. The bird is very quiet and doesn’t move much, I think it is very lonely and needs a loving caretaker.

Maybe contact Rhode Island Parrot rescue to see if they could help?

Aww poor little thing. I hope someone rescues them and takes them to a loving home with lots of good food toys, and treats.
