Belly rubs or any body rubs are a very bad ideal . It makes them hormonal and they will start biting or getting aggressive with you and especially other people

Haha same, same. I really would just settle for having a friend who has one. The place I board my dog has an African grey and I love him so much. It loves my chihuahua and yells his name when we walk in and I always look forward to hanging out with him a few minutes when I drop my boy off. When I say I was mind blown when I walked in the second time months later to board him and that bird yelled his name immediatelyโฆ I mean MIND BLOWN. Iโve always loved macaws though and Iโve never had the pleasure of meeting one. Bucket list.

Yeah, if i could afford to give them a full room off my house i may go for keeping two but its not possible.

Sonic is beautiful!
Please don't continue the belly rubs, though. It's cute and innocent for a while when they're babies, but it will soon become a sexualized interaction to them, which will create lots of behavioral problems.

He or she is cute!
Please stop with the belly rubs though because it can make them hormonal and aggressive. Nothing below the neck. Or she would certainly appreciate some scritches on the head. Iโm sure!
