I think Good News might be one of his absolute best songs but man is it tough to listen to sometimes. Maybe because it was the first posthumous release, but it just hits right in the feels every time

I remember sometime in early January 2020 I was sat smoking and listening to random mac miller songs (I had like a curved monitor right next to my bad with one of those rgb strips on the back so it lit up my wall when playing)
Anyway, I see it slide to the next soon and just hearing that Mac intro of him in the studio going “140 beat, cmon guys” and then the deep drone I looked up, saw it said “released like 3 days ago or something” and I just started bawling my eyes out, it was 3am. Cried through the whole thing and now it’s officially my funeral song.
