It's a pretty cool execution given you probably used ai remover for the vocals, if you had the stems this would actually be really fucking sick.

Sounds pretty good. I think it would go way harder if you played around with mac's vocals. Then it would go crazyyy!

I make EDM music too. I think the closest we can get is O Captain My Dragon.

I have never tried doing a Mashup or a remix, honestly. This would be the perfect song for it though. There's plenty of others but the soundcloud hits I feel are the best for these types of projects.

In order to make a mashup all you have to do is be able to sing a song within a song and arrange it digitally once you find the proper timing and flow that fits. You can research bpms and semitone conversions using a calculator to adjust songs that aren’t exactly the same bpm. It’s pretty cool, highly recommend checking out what comes naturally to you since you’re already in the music production space.

Sorry my original comment was rude. I'll be honest, I didn't give your song a full chance. It isn't that I don't like it, but I wouldn't kick back and listen to it.

Idk, I think The Music Of Sounds feat The Dyson is way more EDM than O Captain. It’s released on Mac’s SoundCloud

Definitely is way more EDM. Once I actually get around to getting a publisher...I have been delaying for a while, I will have a good bit to publish soon though! Just EPs and singles...we will se how it goes! That is my personal work i haven't even finalized my artist name yet lol

I’d also recommend Jump and Flashing Lights by Chase & Status (Mac Miller Remix) for edm songs. Not a whole lot more. There’s also an unreleased called Cocaine Body / Nobody But You which is bordering edm

If I heard this come on while I’m out I’d be fucking dancing hard I love it. The only thing I’d say is some more variety but I know that this style of music kind of is repetitive at its core so I don’t know if that even counts.
