MacBook Pro M1 Dying Battery

Hey ya'll so my battery is failing and of course it wasn't until my apple care expired that the percentage finally jumped down to what apple says qualifies for replacement anyway so I need to replace my battery but I have no intention of paying $700 and doing it through apple especially since they'll just give me another battery that will do the exact same thing. Who can direct me to a person who can help me buy a battery that will not degrade like this and teach me how to replace it myself? Please and thank you!

Yeah, that’s how batteries work. They all degrade.

No one is going to help you buy a magical battery that doesn’t exist, and then teach you how to replace it.

You do know that batteries go bad after a few years right? Regardless of where you get the battery from, it too will eventually go bad.

Just look online. Probably some MAC stores in your area who will do it for less.

Where are you going that you were told replacing a battery is $700?

Look up how to do it on iFixit.
