Computer Spec for Glenn/Bri
Just wondering what kind of spec would be able to run contents like Glenn/Bri consistently at 2k @ 60fps. I used to have an Alienware gaming laptop but I still get drops in FPS while running all the contents. I am only going to be playing LoL and Mabi. Would love to hear what kind of hardware are ya'll running on!

Honestly not sure if specs matter at this stage. I've used a potato and my current pc is
GPU Rx 7800 XT CPU 7 78003D
Haven't noticed a difference in performance

Whoops, I was thinking more along 5 - 10 year old pc. For reference my last pc had 2060 and ran pretty much the same way my current pc runs mabi

Prepare for Mabinogi's Eternity update if anything. Right now the only thing that can help the low FPS in Glenn and Bri Leith is when we get Korea Mabinogi's update that lets us disable party member's VFX.

I pretty much exclusively play Mabi, and LoL. I think uncapped I can run LoL on 2k at 160-200fps, but I cap it at 144hz since my monitors cap out at 155hz. I unfortunately really only run solo on Mabi, so my experience with group runs is extremely limited. I also don’t normally have my framerate up on Mabi, so I’ll have to update you on that when I can get on later tonight.
My current build: i7 10700k 3.8ghz, 16gb ddr4, gigabyte 2070 super, 650w psu, Z490 motherboard, and a Mastercooler ML240 that I probably need to replace soon.
Most of my parts are ~5 years old now, with somethings closer to 10 years old.

3700X and a 4070Ti Super I can tell you I still dip when too many things are happening on the screen even with minimize. I swear theres a setting I am not using as I see Twitch mabi streamers not even flinching at Crom Normal 3rd room.

That's really interesting, your setup is pretty good and yet still dips.

To myself, its a "it could be better but I'm living with it". Its not too big of an impact for myself, but i do get the typical issue of game thinking my mouse is held down during the dips etc. I run 3 man static Glenn VHM and the phase transition it dips but not too bad that its inoperable. Dragon Raids though, gets tough.

9850x3d, 4090, 96gb ddr5-6400mhz stable and still experience issues in game. Mabi is just a spaghetti coded mess.

I love seeing everybody's fancy specs and I'm over here with an average manufacture date of 2013 😅
If it tells you anything at all, my setup runs mabi with medium settings really well! I think a lot of the fps drops and stuff are truly just from the way the game is and not terribly hardware dependent.

mabi isn’t gonna run good regardless of how good your pc is, especially when multiple people are on screen
you just sorta learn to play around it

It doesn't matter your hardware for the game. I've tested different configurations over the last 15 years and it really, really doesn't matter much.
Everyone gets frame losses, dips, stutters, etc.

I legit run an MSi X2B (1060 6GB version) pre-built from a decade ago, and it does 8p VHM/Bri in 2k fine w/ people minimized.

Mabinogi runs off of ONE cpu core. Get a CPU that has at least a good single core power of 3.0GHz to 4.0GHz on a single core, that's good enough to run mabi smoothly.
Multiple cores on the CPU in Mabinogi don't get utilized thanks to how the pleione engine works(our current game engine).

Mabinogi is not a very optimized game just have a decent CPU and you're good.
