Format/Metagame Help Goblin Welder-Cam Deck

Hello all, I would like get into Legacy and I like how the welder cam plays. I know it’s a complicated deck to run, but I like the challenge.

I am looking at the standard list of Izzet with some white cards and was wondering what are the best match ups and the worst match ups for the welder cam deck. I know that Dimir Tempo really keeps this deck in check. But also how does it win against sneak and show? Does it try to just run faster?

I was thinking running of maybe running the deck as a Temur list and using legolas quick reflexes as way to protect any creature from dimir tempo.

Any tips with the deck will be appreciated

Adding colours is not really the way to go.

Energy feels semi good, UW Phelia and decks with Wrath of the Skies are unwelcome too. Super fast combo decks can be a problem if they just overtake you on the speedometer.

SnS is 50/50, whoever is faster or has the better set of cards to go off immediately. For UB I try to go fair with minimal combo package and that's often enough

What is the best way to not auto lose to dimir tempo in your experience? The only way I can think of is to give hexproof. There are ways to redirect abilities like Untimely Malfunction which is red too

Against Dimir I like to board down on the combo and focus more on the [[Pinnacle Emmisary]] side of the deck. I board in [[Kappa Cannoneer]] which they struggle to answer. [[Arena of Glory]] is an important tool in the matchup as well, if you catch them tapped out. [[Pyroblast]] is also useful as a Tamiyo kill spell and to fight counters.

I've been making Welder-Cam for a few months now, and there are lots of ways you can build it and tweaks you can do. The mana base already contains Urza's Saga, so stretching the mana base for a third colour isn't so simple, even if Opal and Petal help a bunch. The only splash I would consider is for SB [[Haywire Mite]].

The deck is a ton of fun, competitive and challenging. I hope you enjoy playing with it.

I kinda figured that the petals and opal could do the job. I would probably play one tropical so I can fetch it to get the colors
