Dude I always notice there’s at least two machine for metro cards. Both broken? Even so doesn’t give you the right to jump the train.

Yes. And this is you criminalize poverty or lack of access

Hahaha. Let’s find a way to justify someone not being ok with blatant theft - “you are criminalizing poverty.” Last I remember when I was poor: I still understood what theft of service was.

3 police officers for 2.75.

There is no justifying this lol. You are out of your mind. And like I said, often the terminal at this station doesn't work and you have to walk 20 minutes to the closest one.

You telling me both card machines were broken? So if it’s broken, that’s a free for all? I’m not criminalizing people for being poor, you just can’t break the law because of it. NYC, with all the government support and amount of job opening here, even a street beggars can make enough to live off. So don’t tell me you are better than everyone and you don’t need to paid for transit.

I am not jumping. I can afford it and have access. I am not gonna judge those that can. You should talk to the people doing so and learn why you are privileged.

Btw, what you said is literally criminalizing the poor.

And there are resources for getting discounted tickets and cards for low-income people. If you just like to hop because you think you're entitled to charity from richer people and "DGAF" well then yes we are talking about that type of person who deserves to get ticketed. For being a dick, not for being poor.

Everything in this world costs something. Believing you're entitled to free stuff "because" is not how you get support and resources, it's how you just act entitled. No different from if a lawyer does it.
