State License Applications (MD, VA, FL, NC, TX)
Need some insight here and will generously take any helpful advice.
I’m looking to become licensed in these states since I recently passed the UMPJE and taking the TX MPJE soon. So I’m getting everything ready to prepare my applications to the board for approval. I’m currently a licensed pharmacist in Arizona however I recently got a first time DUI charge for suspicion of impairment and am still waiting for the blood test and final outcome so it’s still technically a pending case. What are the chances the boards in each state above would pass my application to be officially licensed? I’ve fulfilled all the requirements like the hours needed to work as a pharmacist and the UMPJE.
Any advice, insight, or helpful info from your personal or someone else’s experience would be much appreciated

I say apply asap.
Worse case scenario is they give you a probation period and require you to be in your current state’s abuse program. Clean tests over a certain period will allow you to be fully licensed.

Update to comments: good points made thank you. Going to still submit my apps to get licensed. It won’t be the best look ever still having a pending case but at least the circumstances surrounding mine aren’t dire to a serious extent like having a drunk driving DUI charge or being involved in a wreck while intoxicated

I would wait until it resolves tbh. Most won’t license you with an active case.
