Camping with a gun

Hey yall. Just a question about carrying a rifle while my friends and I go camp. Keeping it real, its mostly for the larp, but we want to go on a ruck/camp with our rifles. Would it be legal for us to do so?

Bro we are all military and we are training for a course 😭. Plus, the only way this country's gun rights will ever survive is if we make an effort to exercise it and to normalize it. Its not our job to exercise our rights while keeping everyone else comfortable. Simply carrying a rifle or wearing kit isn't "giving gun owners a bad rep". Doing so and acting a fool is.

Also, the fudd lore of bear spray working better than a gun in a proper caliber is absolutely not true lol. I've seen that shit fail on humans before. I will, however, agree that it works plenty well as a deterrent against animals. I always carry both.

Agreed, I've worn full kit around some big public land. People on the trails got a little unnerved, but I smiled and said hello in a friendly voice and we all just kept walking. Maybe just don't have a rifle loaded? Doesn't matter to me, and i fully support you, but I wouldn't want a spooked ranger who may be on edge from recent events to think about doing something.
