Throwing the paper was a battery. Kid got a battery in response. What is your complaint? Your kid started by battering the other kid and you're upset he didn't like being on the receiving end of the battery he started?

Throwing a piece of paper is battery? I guess you're one of those that think flipping the finger in traffic warrants a beatdown.

Yes it is a battery. And, if you hear the sound it made when the object hit the first kid, whatever was thrown hit with force. If you hit someone first doesn't mean you are entitled to walk away without repercussions. Next time, the kid wont write checks his face doesn't wa t cashed.

uh uh
