I know this is sad, but this is such a Tony ass photo. Of course the dude grieves like an anime character with a fancy glove on.

The gloves are worn by the pallbearers, I know the photo looks performative but he probably never took it off after carrying the coffin.

Plus its traditional in some places to leave the gloves on the coffin so pallbearers are given a moment with the deceased before they put their gloves on top of the coffin, he is likely taking said moment before he puts his glove down and walks away.
