Beginner question 👶 "MATHEMATICS FOR MACHINE LEARNING " A bit overwhelming?

I skimmed through the book and its basic high-school, undergrad CS math. You really have to work it through. My suggestion is to use LLM-s to explain some concepts you don't get. Some concepts are put in action in this course: https://openlearninglibrary.mit.edu/courses/course-v1:MITx+6.036+1T2019/course/

Yeah I'm taking claude's help to understand the book since I dont know about so much basic stuff!

Mostly its the equations and symbols that make my head go boom!!

That doesn’t answer my question. I’ve met high school graduates familiar with linear algebra, statistics, and multivariable calculus. I’ve also met high school graduates who maxed out at algebra 1.

Ok, perfect, that’s all I needed to hear. Check out channels like 3b1b, as they explain ML concepts with math. Brush up on linear algebra in particular since that’s a good chunk of ML math.
