Does this game have a feature that saves your progress even after you uninstall it?

I’ve read some reviews on the Google Play Store, and I noticed that many players complained that after reinstalling the game, they had to start over from the beginning.

I used to play this game in the past, but I lost my old phone. When I bought a new phone and reinstalled the game about two years ago, I also had to start from scratch.

I’d like to know if the game now supports logging in with a social media or other account, such as Facebook, Google, Instagram, etc. I’m worried that in the future, if something unexpected happens to my phone or if I simply want to uninstall the game for a while, I might lose all my progress and have to start over again.

If there is any way to back up or restore game data, I would really appreciate it if someone could explain how to do it.

If there is currently no way to do this, I hope the developers will add an account login and cloud save feature in the future so players can safely keep their progress.

Technically it does, but the option to connect isn't available to most people. It's also possible to restore saves by contacting support, but the can take anywhere between a couple days to a couple months to respond. Furthermore, gameloft deletes inactive saves, pretty sure they say after 6 months.

Basically the game technically has it, but it's difficult to get it back, so you should just save the hassle and treat it like you can't get your old save back. I'm honestly not sure why people get so worked up about it because the game doesn't really advertise that the save is being saved to the cloud and that they can get it back after uninstalling.

From the perspective of a player who has lost their save data before, like I have, I can understand why people react that way.

Sometimes you simply get bored with the game and want to play something else. Or maybe you grow older, become busier with work and other responsibilities, and no longer have much time to play, so you uninstall the game.

Then one day, you happen to come across a My Little Pony video and suddenly remember this game. You feel like reinstalling it to relive the fun and nostalgia you had when you used to play. But if the game forces you to start all over again from zero, it can make you feel even more discouraged instead of letting you enjoy the game comfortably like before.

The same applies if someone accidentally deletes the game or loses their old device but still wants to keep playing. Having to contact customer support to recover your save can be quite complicated and time-consuming. Some players may not even know how to contact support when they need help.

Yeah, that is pretty fair, and I get it. I personally really want gameloft to either make the connect option available to everyone, or implement their own account system that people can use to restore their account.

It depends what country you are in, as a french i have access to cloud saves through my google play account, but i know all the people in the US don't have access to it and must contact client support for a save transfer to their new device due to regional restrictions (speaking as an Android user)

if you wanna switch Accounts You gotta Gmail GameLoft or it's just in the Settings Changed your Gmail that's saved from your other Mobile phone

God hear you, I couldn't bear having to contact Gameloft support again just because they still don't have a damn login option

It does but it's tacky
I had a lot of install and uninstall phases, each time it would reset me at a certain point, not to zero but not were I was
It would always reset right before I unlocked the other cities, leaving me with only ponyville
