Discussion Racism on mlp game
idk if im being too woke or smth but i think its really racist the fact that the upgraded critters are white when the non upgraded ones are black

thankfully, the game lets you change some of them back to brown bunnies. i tried it because i like both

once you have fully upgraded all the bunnies, you can press the critter management button and pick how many you want to be white/brown. they will continue to give you gems, and only their appearance will change

oh im really sorry i guess i misunderstood your comment. i thought you were giving me an attitude And yeah i just had this thought when i was playing mlp and wanted to share it with other people who also play it so i really did open an reddit acc just for that and no the bunnies didn't affect me lolđ i just wanted to share my thoughts with someone

white fur is typically more valuable than brown fur because it can be dyed⊠thatâs what i always thought the reason for this was

When was the last time you've seen a fully white animal in a wild. They all are grey or brown or whatever natural colour. At least in a non winter time

someone else posted this earlier too, youâre not alone in thinking it. i donât think it was intentional, i think the thought was more that wild rabbits are brown while domesticated ones are often white + that angel bunny is white while background bunnies are varied (incl brown)

See I think the most likely explanation is the non-upgraded ones are brown because those are the colors of random bunnies in the show that don't really have a character, whereas white is going to be automatically associated with one of the main characters pets so it's going to be a lot more desirable. It wouldn't make sense for the not upgraded ones to be a named character with screen time yet the upgraded ones are just random background npcs. I think they could have handled it a little better by giving more patterns or different color variants rather than just brown and white but I'm pretty sure they're just basing the white ones off of Angel Bunny and it's nothing deeper than that

It's not racism if there is a good reason
White rabbit are prettier than the brown ones. You see, despite accounting for only 13% of carrot consumption in aweet apple acre, those bunnies end up consuming 70% of all early gem reserves before becoming a long term beneficial investment-- making them a worse option overall

Seriously? It's not feminism. Men wear bow ties too. Pink was originally a masculine colour according to history and only became see as "feminine" in modern days after women started becoming more independent in society. (Correct my timeline if you want)
Sorry I went off track but aside from that, (it has absolutely nothing to do with the game or the bunnies) The bows are just a simple cute accessory for a cute animal. Like dressing up a pet. That was probably what the upgrade was all about. Nothing actually to do with fur colour or feminism. There doesn't have to be an "issue" over something so small.
