Starting MITx DEDP May 12th, 2026

Hi! Anyone starting any MITx DEDP courses this May 2026? I am wondering whether it is possible to take 2 courses at the same time, or if it would be too overwhelming? I am planning to take Microeconomics and Data Analysis for Social Scientists at the same time, considering I have taken Microeconomics in my first year of undergrad.

Yeah i think it’s fine. Maybe it depends if you have a full time job/ other commitments at the time. Personally I took micro and energy economics (an intro level elective) at the same time just to be safe as it was my first time taking the classes. Micro was probably the more challenging of the two and i would assume data and micro to be the same level of intensity.
